Nial Hughes was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 17 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Roehampton Raptors's Nial Hughes got a free kick in the 17th minute. Ryan Houlahan kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. If Armando Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Alastair Sugden made a precise shot to the right of Keiran Storry. Costa FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Alastair Sugden had several of the Costa FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 28 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Keiran Storry as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a defensive mix-up in Costa FC's zone, Armando Quadros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keiran Storry came out of the goal and Armando Quadros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th match minute, Roehampton Raptors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garry Piercy to maneuver through the defense. After 39 played minutes, Costa FC's Donny Niven shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vinicio Vitin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Costa FC reached it. When Çağatay Keşif fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Roehampton Raptors's protests and gave Çağatay Keşif a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Roehampton Raptors's Çağatay Keşif got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute, Alastair Sugden fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Keiran Storry, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alastair Sugden in the 44th minute of play forced Costa FC's goalkeeper Keiran Storry to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Micheal Skipton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Roehampton Raptors the free kick. After a rather tough play, Costa FC's Micheal Skipton got a free kick in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rich Moxon to make the kick off. Adrian Sweeney in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vinicio Vitin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Vinicio Vitin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tommy Rawlings in the 54th minute. Alastair Sugden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Keiran Storry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The throw-in from Sean Drysdale in the 60th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Roehampton Raptors's Çağatay Keşif. Alastair Sugden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 66 minutes, Alastair Sugden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roehampton Raptors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alastair Sugden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alastair Sugden in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keiran Storry saved Costa FC from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Vinicio Vitin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Rich Moxon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vinicio Vitin came out and tried to block the shot, but Rich Moxon slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 76th minute. The audience was convinced that Alastair Sugden's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Keiran Storry was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alastair Sugden in the 84th minute of play forced Costa FC's goalkeeper Keiran Storry to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the game, Sean Drysdale threw the ball into play from the sideline. Roehampton Raptors's Çağatay Keşif quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alastair Sugden in the 86th minute of play forced Costa FC's goalkeeper Keiran Storry to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Quadros struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Keiran Storry didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Roehampton Raptors. Vinicio Vitin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryan Houlahan in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94thth minute of the game Alastair Sugden who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa FC's Keiran Storry was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
