After 3 played minutes Wheaton Aston City got a freekick which was hit by Chaz Bell. 7 minutes into the game, Jordan Auckland recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Richard Verity. Jordan Auckland showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Wheaton Aston City's Dale Sawyer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gav Brodie in the 14th minute of play. Richard Verity made an important save on a dangerous shot by Warren Picker in the 16th minute. Chaz Bell charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chaz Bell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Chaz Bell kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Dale Sawyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gav Brodie in the 25th minute of the match. Chaz Bell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chaz Bell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Warren Picker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Richard Verity tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 played minutes byby Im Bored.com got a freekick which was hit by Bobby Shaw. Warren Picker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Verity having to interfere. After a rather tough play, byby Im Bored.com's Rodney May got a free kick in the 41st minute. Richard Verity made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordan Auckland in the 43rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Jordan Auckland put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Richard Verity.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jordan Auckland was the one to do the kick off. Jordan Auckland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute Peter Hicks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Verity saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Warren Picker took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richard Verity. Richard Verity dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Warren Picker in the 67th minute of play forced byby Im Bored.com's goalkeeper Richard Verity to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chaz Bell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Warren Picker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Richard Verity having to make a save. Richard Verity showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Warren Picker, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Peter Hicks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th match minute, byby Im Bored.com was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mitch Lightfoot to maneuver through the defense. After 79 minutes of play, Wheaton Aston City's Jordan Auckland made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Richard Verity was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Jordan Auckland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Richard Verity was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Gav Brodie hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. If Jordan Auckland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wheaton Aston City's Dale Sawyer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Wheaton Aston City from getting a goal against them. After 92 played minutes, Wheaton Aston City's Antony Cornish shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Richard Verity came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Wheaton Aston City reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gav Brodie during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to byby Im Bored.com getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Gav Brodie hit a great ball. Russell Crichton took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dale Sawyer. Dale Sawyer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Wheaton Aston City fully deserved thier win.
