In the 6th match minute, Pallet Town FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Haugue to maneuver through the defense. Frankie Horsell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jasper Harding having to interfere. Daniel Longthorn was a little too slow when George Doughty got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. Austin Marchant's late challenge caught a Pallet Town FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Austin Marchant helped the player get up and apologised. Austin Marchant kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frankie Horsell in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jasper Harding saved Junior Owls Project from getting behind. In the 34th minute, one of Pallet Town FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pallet Town FC. Daniel Longthorn went to the wrong direction when Sebastian Gurney was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. When Kurt Capes fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pallet Town FC's protests and gave Kurt Capes a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Pallet Town FC's Kurt Capes got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Pallet Town FC's Daniel Longthorn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Pallet Town FC from getting a goal against them. In the 46th minute Frankie Horsell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jasper Harding saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Dennis Robson kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Frankie Horsell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jasper Harding was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. After 58 minutes, Frankie Horsell made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Junior Owls Project's Jasper Harding tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Daniel Longthorn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Austin Marchant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Ritchie Impey notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Pallet Town FC's Daniel Longthorn. Daniel Longthorn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daniel Longthorn came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Junior Owls Project's Austin Marchant. But to his dismay, Austin Marchant quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 70th match minute, Junior Owls Project was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philip Branch to maneuver through the defense. Frankie Horsell had several of the Junior Owls Project's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 71 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-3 score and a disappointed Jasper Harding as he didn't even see the shot coming. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Frankie Horsell put it in 3-4 from a short distance just to the right of Jasper Harding. Frankie Horsell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jasper Harding having to interfere. Jasper Harding showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frankie Horsell, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The supporters of Pallet Town FC booed when Junior Owls Project was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Austin Marchant didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pallet Town FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Junior Owls Project's much stronger midfield.
