Teddy Lucas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Curtis Browning in the 16th minute of the match. After 18 minutes, Toby Almond mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wokingham and the Great Addington players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute, Toby Almond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute, Lucas Cambridge made a precise shot to the right of Phil Timmins. Wokingham's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Lucas Cambridge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toby Almond got his second yellow card in the match during the 25th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 26 played minutes Wokingham got a freekick which was hit by Toby Almond. When Lucas Cambridge came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Great Addington fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Cambridge couldn't finish the play. Phil Timmins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tris Gardner, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Wokingham's zone, Tris Gardner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Phil Timmins came out of the goal and Tris Gardner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teddy Lucas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orson Lawton in the 38th minute of the match. Phil Timmins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tris Gardner, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After the first half Great Addington were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucas Cambridge to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Curtis Browning hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danny Duffy charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Danny Duffy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 54 minutes into the game, Joe Booker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Teddy Lucas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 57 minutes, Frank Lockwood mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wokingham and the Great Addington players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wokingham fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Phil Timmins, was totally fooled by Great Addington's Martyn Branch, who 59 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Phil Timmins was a little too slow when Lucas Cambridge got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 1-3. Graeme Castleton kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Lucas Cambridge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Wokingham getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Curtis Browning hit a great ball. Great Addington's Teddy Lucas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joe Booker in the 82nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Curtis Browning managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wokingham's supporters rose to their feet, but Curtis Browning was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teddy Lucas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teddy Lucas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Graeme Castleton went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. A collision led to Great Addington getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Martyn Branch hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Great Addington eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
