Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Longthorn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Will Burgess in the 4th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Robin Eadan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frankie Horsell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodney Cousins kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Robin Eadan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Longthorn having to interfere. Frankie Horsell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Garry Draper took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Longthorn. Daniel Longthorn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Garry Mayfield hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Pallet Town FC's goalkeeper Daniel Longthorn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robin Eadan. When Frankie Horsell came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Pallet Town FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frankie Horsell couldn't finish the play. Daniel Longthorn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garry Draper, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Robin Eadan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Daniel Longthorn made a huge save. 48 minutes into the game, Kyle Hall cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ashley Harding was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frankie Horsell to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Pallet Town FC's goal looked a bit too open when Will Burgess came free, but Daniel Longthorn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Garry Mayfield hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frankie Horsell in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ashley Harding prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Will Burgess had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniel Longthorn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin Eadan, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Daniel Longthorn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Will Burgess in the 75th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Garry Draper got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 78th minute Will Burgess shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Longthorn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robin Eadan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Daniel Longthorn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Robin Eadan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hale fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. A collision led to Pallet Town FC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Oscar Haugue hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hale fully deserved thier win.
