Wokingham's Phil Timmins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Doughty in the 9th minute of play. When Joe Booker came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Wokingham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joe Booker couldn't finish the play. Toby Almond kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes, Junior Owls Project's Sebastian Gurney shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Phil Timmins came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Junior Owls Project reached it. Toby Almond kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. When George Doughty came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Junior Owls Project fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that George Doughty couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Austin Marchant in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Phil Timmins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 21st play minutes Johnathan Ridsdale shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Jasper Harding and just under the crossbar into goal. Austin Marchant's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Phil Timmins read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. When Graeme Castleton fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wokingham's protests and gave Graeme Castleton a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Junior Owls Project booed when Wokingham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Graeme Castleton didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Wokingham! With a little luck, Junior Owls Project's Jasper Harding got control of the ball when Johnathan Ridsdale tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot by Frank Lockwood from long distance, 38 minutes into the match, got Jasper Harding's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, George Doughty managed to get in a good position for a shot. Junior Owls Project's supporters rose to their feet, but George Doughty was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Phil Timmins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Graeme Castleton was shown his second yellow card after 45 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 46th match minute, Wokingham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Graeme Castleton to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when George Doughty stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Wokingham booed when Junior Owls Project was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ritchie Impey didn't get a good kick on the ball. George Doughty kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. With a little luck, Wokingham's Phil Timmins got control of the ball when Austin Marchant tried to sneak it across the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Wokingham's goalkeeper Phil Timmins had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Austin Marchant. George Doughty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Austin Marchant struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Phil Timmins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Junior Owls Project. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wokingham fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! 84 minutes in the game, Austin Marchant fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Phil Timmins having to interfere. George Doughty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Phil Timmins made an important save on a dangerous shot by Austin Marchant in the 90th minute. 92 minutes into the game, Austin Marchant cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Phil Timmins was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Junior Owls Project supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Junior Owls Project would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
