Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Chiswick's Gaz Breeden started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Martyn Branch came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Great Addington fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martyn Branch couldn't finish the play. Tris Gardner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 14 minutes, Lucas Cambridge mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Great Addington and the Chiswick players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Great Addington getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Lucas Cambridge hit a great ball. Gaz Linford's late challenge caught a Great Addington's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaz Linford helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th match minute, Chiswick was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaz Linford to maneuver through the defense. 0-2 became the score in the 20th minute when Tris Gardner elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Sammy Dewhirst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sammy Dewhirst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teddy Lucas having to interfere. Teddy Lucas was a little too slow when Gaz Breeden got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Lucas Cambridge made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Great Addington getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Matthew Hampton hit a great ball. When Gaz Breeden came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Chiswick fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaz Breeden couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute Sammy Dewhirst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teddy Lucas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marlon Darnbrooke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martyn Branch, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. William Slade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teddy Lucas having to interfere. Chiswick's Gaz Breeden got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gaz Linford kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Chiswick were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
