Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Doug Armstrong took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dane Clist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bob Love's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. After 10 minutes of play, Kidderminster's Dennis Faulkner made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rio Whalley was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bob Love struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Dane Clist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Settle. After a rather tough play, Kidderminster's Sam Wooding got a free kick in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, Settle's Sonny Southgate got a free kick in the 25th minute. Glenn Jump took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rio Whalley. Settle's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rio Whalley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doug Armstrong in the 28th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Settle's Johnathon Duffy got a free kick in the 29th minute. Settle's Rio Whalley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Graeme Rice in the 32nd minute of play. Rio Whalley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doug Armstrong in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Graeme Rice in the 37th minute of play forced Settle's goalkeeper Rio Whalley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rio Whalley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Graeme Rice, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Rio Whalley came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Kidderminster's Dennis Faulkner. But to his dismay, Dennis Faulkner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bob Love to strike the kick off in the second half. After 59 played minutes Settle got a freekick which was hit by William Martindale. Glenn Jump's late challenge caught a Settle's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Glenn Jump helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Settle booed when Kidderminster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glenn Jump didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute of the match Ian Dines shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dane Clist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dane Clist came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Settle's Bob Love. But to his dismay, Bob Love quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The supporters of Kidderminster booed when Settle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gwyn Orchard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Doug Armstrong's late challenge caught a Settle's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Doug Armstrong helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th minute, Doug Armstrong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doug Armstrong got free with Rio Whalley in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Settle's Rio Whalley got control of the ball when Graeme Rice tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bob Love in the 86th minute of play forced Kidderminster's goalkeeper Dane Clist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, William Martindale had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dane Clist. Kidderminster's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that William Martindale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. A collision led to Settle getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Gwyn Orchard hit a great ball. Rio Whalley came out of the goal in the 100th minute to try and stop a shot by Kidderminster's Doug Armstrong. But to his dismay, Doug Armstrong quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Kidderminster players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
