Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Shaun Challis got the match started through his kick off. Darwen's Brendon Edworthy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Darwen from getting a goal against them. Wayne Farrow showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brendon Winstanley in the 9th minute of the match. Ed Kenworthy charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ed Kenworthy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ed Kenworthy kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Dylan Froggatt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Brendon Edworthy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rupert Boothroyd charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rupert Boothroyd the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rupert Boothroyd kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Shaun Challis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Ty Turnbull had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wayne Farrow. North Baddesley's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ty Turnbull was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Dylan Froggatt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ed Kenworthy got his second yellow card in the match during the 30th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Darwen's Ed Kenworthy got a free kick in the 31st minute. Brendon Edworthy was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Shaun Challis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 33 minute of play. Darwen's Ty Turnbull got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the last second Brendon Edworthy throw himself and got hold of the ball when Shaun Challis in the 38thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 39 played minutes Darwen got a freekick which was hit by Denzil Connell. In the 40th minute of the match Harvey Workman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brendon Edworthy showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shaun Challis in the 45th minute of play forced Darwen's goalkeeper Brendon Edworthy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abraham Bartlett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ty Turnbull to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, North Baddesley's Shaun Challis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brendon Edworthy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Brendon Winstanley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Darwen getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Denzil Connell hit a great ball. In the 70th minute of the match Harvey Workman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brendon Edworthy showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Shaun Challis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Brendon Edworthy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The North Baddesley fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when North Baddesley's Shaun Challis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Brendon Edworthy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavin Pennant, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Dylan Froggatt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dylan Froggatt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Brendon Edworthy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shaun Challis in the 90th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Dylan Froggatt managed to get in a good position for a shot. North Baddesley's supporters rose to their feet, but Dylan Froggatt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brendon Edworthy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Darwen players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented North Baddesley from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
