Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nathan Wallbank took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Nathan Wallbank ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wayne Farrow was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 5 minutes, Matthias Kirchberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Broadgreen FC and the North Baddesley players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Broadgreen FC's Matthias Kirchberg got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 8th match minute, Broadgreen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastien Gerrard to maneuver through the defense. Nathan Wallbank struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Wayne Farrow didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Broadgreen FC. North Baddesley's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nathan Wallbank was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Denny Palmer's late challenge caught a North Baddesley's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 46 played minutes North Baddesley got a freekick which was hit by Nat Pickford. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Shaun Challis to make the kick off. Wayne Farrow showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Buster Keane, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. North Baddesley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Broadgreen FC the free kick. In the 64th minute, Den Rose hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nathan Wallbank received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Pang Zheng Zhen came out of the goal and Dylan Froggatt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Broadgreen FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Matthias Kirchberg hit a great ball. When Dylan Froggatt came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the North Baddesley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dylan Froggatt couldn't finish the play. Broadgreen FC played a much better game than North Baddesley and deserved their victory. The North Baddesley players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
