When Gaz Webster fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Freedom's protests and gave Gaz Webster a yellow card for diving instead. Gaz Webster hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. When Shaun Challis came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the North Baddesley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shaun Challis couldn't finish the play. Clive Bourton kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 0-3 became the score in the 31st minute when Shaun Challis elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Freedom's goal looked a bit too open when Dylan Froggatt came free, but Dylan Duckworth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Adam Fronczak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 played minutes Freedom got a freekick which was hit by Keanu Harban. In the 43rd minute of the match Harvey Workman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dylan Duckworth showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Freedom's Dylan Duckworth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dylan Froggatt in the 45th minute of play. Dylan Duckworth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shaun Challis, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Dylan Froggatt notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Freedom's Dylan Duckworth. Dylan Duckworth was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adam Fronczak was the one to do the kick off. The Freedom players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
