Tony Folan had in the 10thth minute some difficulties stopping Ivan McDonald's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 10th minute, Ivan McDonald made a precise shot to the right of Tony Folan. Pretorians's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Sacha Smith kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Brett Banks kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Ivan McDonald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Tony Folan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Pretorians defense, Silvester Amos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tony Folan. The Pretorians fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tony Folan should have stopped the shot. In the 28th minute Keith Rusk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Folan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tony Folan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivan McDonald's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Felix Farrow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harvey Donnelly having to interfere. Harvey Donnelly made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Farrow in the 43rd minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felix Farrow was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of NEW MILLS F.C. booed when Pretorians was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philip Kalischer didn't get a good kick on the ball. 52 minutes into the game, Rubim Pimentel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NEW MILLS F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pretorians the free kick. Rubim Pimentel hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Sacha Smith hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Harvey Donnelly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Farrow in the 62nd minute of the match. Ivan McDonald blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tony Folan having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Pretorians's zone, Adrian Revell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tony Folan came out of the goal and Adrian Revell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 65 minutes into the match, Pretorians's goalkeeper Tony Folan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivan McDonald. With a little luck, Pretorians's Tony Folan got control of the ball when Rubim Pimentel tried to sneak it across the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Pretorians's Felix Farrow sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Harvey Donnelly narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Brett Banks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harvey Donnelly having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Felix Farrow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harvey Donnelly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Sacha Smith was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pretorians's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NEW MILLS F.C. the free kick. After 79 played minutes Pretorians got a freekick which was hit by Sacha Smith. 84 minutes into the match, Ivan McDonald dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tony Folan, 0-4. If Ivan Connett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Farrow in the 92nd minute of play forced NEW MILLS F.C.'s goalkeeper Harvey Donnelly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, NEW MILLS F.C.'s Rubim Pimentel got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 94th match minute, Pretorians was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philip Kalischer to maneuver through the defense. Ivan Connett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Pretorians fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. NEW MILLS F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
