The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Denzil Marchant made a kick off. Alex Warrender received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Carl Darnbrooke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denzil Marchant blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carl Darnbrooke having to make a save. In the 57th minute, Calvin Cook hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zackary Haper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sammy Gardiner in the 62nd minute of play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 85 minutes, Calvin Cook managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glastonbury FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Calvin Cook was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Glastonbury FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
