A collision led to Stony Stratford FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Wes Courtney hit a great ball. Carl Downes might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Johnathan Cousins. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carl Downes ran back to his position shaking his head. Stony Stratford FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Carl Downes scored to the left of an out of position Johnathan Cousins, making the score, 3-0. Johnathan Cousins didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frankie Brookes went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 24th minute, Carl Downes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 26 minutes of play, The Tigers's Carl Downes made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johnathan Cousins was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vinnie Backhouse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Frankie Brookes came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the The Tigers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frankie Brookes couldn't finish the play. After having played for 32 minutes, Owen Noble managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Tigers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Owen Noble was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to The Tigers getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Darius Hamer hit a great ball. Vinnie Backhouse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Travis Baldwin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 38 played minutes Carl Downes could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 6-0 into the left cross. If Darius Hamer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vinnie Backhouse struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Johnathan Cousins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Tigers. In the 47th minute, Nicky Fitter made a precise shot to the right of Tim Johnstone. The Tigers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Len Bowland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 7-1 became the score in the 53rd minute when Carl Downes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tris Hedges charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tris Hedges the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th match minute, The Tigers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tris Hedges to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Carl Downes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johnathan Cousins was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. 64 minutes into the match, Stony Stratford FC's Len Bowland sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tim Johnstone narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Johnathan Cousins didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when The Tigers's Carl Downes shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 10-1 in the ordered_time% minute. If Carl Downes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Owen Noble in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Johnathan Cousins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 82nd minute Vinnie Backhouse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnathan Cousins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carl Downes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johnathan Cousins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Owen Noble, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Stony Stratford FC's Tyrone Black got a free kick in the 89th minute. Johnathan Cousins came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by The Tigers's Owen Noble. But to his dismay, Owen Noble quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-1. 96 minutes into the match, Owen Noble had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johnathan Cousins. Stony Stratford FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Owen Noble was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 13-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. The Tigers had played much better football throughout.
