After a rather tough play, Thē Ŵhïppętś's Kelvin Stiles got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Thomas Winfield took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joshua Brumfitt. Joshua Brumfitt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Philip Ash fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Hakkı Oğuzkan having to interfere. 13 minutes into the game, Thomas Winfield recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joshua Brumfitt. Thomas Winfield showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 17 minutes into the match, Thē Ŵhïppętś's goalkeeper Joshua Brumfitt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomas Winfield. After 19 minutes, Mark Mager mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carlisle United and the Thē Ŵhïppętś players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mehmet Hakkı Oğuzkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philip Ash in the 20th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Thē Ŵhïppętś's Philip Ash nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mehmet Hakkı Oğuzkan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After 23 played minutes 洪振义 could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 3-1 into the left cross. Thomas Winfield's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Joshua Brumfitt firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some careless play in the Thē Ŵhïppętś defense, Thomas Winfield kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joshua Brumfitt. The Thē Ŵhïppętś fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joshua Brumfitt should have stopped the shot. Thomas Winfield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joshua Brumfitt having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Thē Ŵhïppętś's zone, 洪振义 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joshua Brumfitt came out of the goal and 洪振义 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kelvin Stiles in the 38th minute of play forced Carlisle United's goalkeeper Mehmet Hakkı Oğuzkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joshua Brumfitt made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Thomas Winfield sent off a good shot on target. Andreas Forsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Thē Ŵhïppętś's corner Johnathon Haigh fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mehmet Hakkı Oğuzkan quite easily take care of the ball. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Carlisle United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Johnathon Haigh was slow to take the kick. During this time Thē Ŵhïppętś's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by 洪振义 in the 48th minute of play forced Thē Ŵhïppętś's goalkeeper Joshua Brumfitt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joshua Brumfitt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 洪振义, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 53 minutes of play, Carlisle United's 洪振义 made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joshua Brumfitt was left in no man's land by his defense there! 洪振义 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thomas Winfield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joshua Brumfitt having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Sol Leyburn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Joshua Brumfitt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Carlisle United fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Carlisle United's Thomas Winfield looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 72nd minute, Jay Plant got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Carlisle United's 洪振义 in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Thē Ŵhïppętś's goalie prevented a goal. Thē Ŵhïppętś's Joshua Brumfitt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Winfield in the 76th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Thomas Winfield shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joshua Brumfitt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th match minute, Carlisle United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sol Leyburn to maneuver through the defense. In the 86thth minute of the game Thomas Winfield who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Thē Ŵhïppętś's Joshua Brumfitt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 87th minute 洪振义 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joshua Brumfitt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thē Ŵhïppętś's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thomas Winfield was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-1. When the referee ended the match the Carlisle United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
