Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laurence Perryman in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joshua Brumfitt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thanks to some nice moves Philip Ash could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Cesar Cambranes however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Thē Ŵhïppętś's Tyrone Boxall got a free kick in the 40th minute. Joshua Brumfitt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laurence Perryman's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Cesar Cambranes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jay Plant, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. After the first half La Cicloneta were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Jay Plant made the kick off in the second half. Laurence Perryman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joshua Brumfitt having to make a save. 57 minutes into the match, Jay Plant had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cesar Cambranes. La Cicloneta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jay Plant was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wayne Rooney during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Thē Ŵhïppętś getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Wayne Rooney hit a great ball. Philip Ash kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Laurence Perryman struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Joshua Brumfitt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Cicloneta. Joshua Brumfitt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laurence Perryman in the 64th minute. Laurence Perryman might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joshua Brumfitt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laurence Perryman ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurence Perryman in the 66th minute of play forced Thē Ŵhïppętś's goalkeeper Joshua Brumfitt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th match minute, Thē Ŵhïppętś was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kelvin Stiles to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, La Cicloneta's goal looked a bit too open when Jay Plant came free, but Cesar Cambranes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laurence Perrymans short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Joshua Brumfitt to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Thē Ŵhïppętś getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Wayne Rooney hit a great ball. The La Cicloneta fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when La Cicloneta's Laurence Perryman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Joshua Brumfitt was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Laurence Perryman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Laurence Perryman really showed his touch with that goal: 1-7. After having played for 93 minutes, Tom Kemp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Cicloneta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tom Kemp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Laurence Perryman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Joshua Brumfitt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. La Cicloneta's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
