Spectators: 6938 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1938, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Virgilio Valery kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Virgilio Valery managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blyth AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Virgilio Valery was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zackary Humphreys breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edmund Ziombkowski scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zackary Humphreys, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Calvin Barfield lost his temper 7 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Charles Buard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zackary Humphreys read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cody Ashby during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ashley Hendley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Edmund Ziombkowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Zackary Humphreys was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Burntwood Foresters's Zackary Humphreys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Valery in the 19th minute of play. Zackary Humphreys showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmund Ziombkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Blyth AFC's Edmund Ziombkowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zackary Humphreys made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 24th minute, Jânio Guedes made a precise shot to the right of Zackary Humphreys. Burntwood Foresters's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Garry Corby scored 1-4 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jack Nicholson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zackary Humphreys came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Blyth AFC's Virgilio Valery. But to his dismay, Virgilio Valery quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. After 37 minutes of play, Blyth AFC's Jânio Guedes made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zackary Humphreys was left in no man's land by his defense there! 40 minutes into the game, Blyth AFC's Virgilio Valery nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zackary Humphreys made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. Zackary Humphreys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jânio Guedes in the 44th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Virgilio Valery had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zackary Humphreys. Burntwood Foresters's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Virgilio Valery was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-8. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronny Attwood made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Virgilio Valery recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zackary Humphreys. Virgilio Valery showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-9. Virgilio Valery blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zackary Humphreys having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Blyth AFC's Jânio Guedes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zackary Humphreys. That made the score 1-11 after 61 minutes of play. Zackary Humphreys took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmund Ziombkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Blyth AFC's Jânio Guedes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zackary Humphreys. Zackary Humphreys yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-12. Burntwood Foresters's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Virgilio Valery scored to the left of an out of position Zackary Humphreys, making the score, 1-13. Garry Corby hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Jânio Guedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Zackary Humphreys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Blyth AFC's Virgilio Valery dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-14. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jânio Guedes in the 86th minute of play forced Burntwood Foresters's goalkeeper Zackary Humphreys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Blyth AFC's goalkeeper Jack Nicholson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
