Blyth AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Virgilio Valery was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex Howard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stu Beckham kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. If Jânio Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dom Shipley was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Blyth AFC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. John Paul Long hit a great ball. Edmund Ziombkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Howard having to interfere. Blyth AFC's Jack Nicholson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Blyth AFC from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Tommy Bray's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jack Nicholson was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. In the 57th minute, Virgilio Valery ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alex Howard was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Virgilio Valery's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alex Howard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Jânio Guedes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Alex Howard was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The corner went over the outstretched arms of i glimpsed a black star's goalie and right to Stewart Hunt. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. i glimpsed a black star's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Jack Nicholson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dom Shipley in the 84th minute of play. Virgilio Valery sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Jânio Guedes sped through i glimpsed a black star's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alex Howard. There was no doubt that Blyth AFC were the better team. Blyth AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
