Tod Bridgeworth hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Leo Ackland might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Glen Nash. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leo Ackland ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Ozzy Dunlop managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oddspredator.net's supporters rose to their feet, but Ozzy Dunlop was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Glen Nash breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Damion Holt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Jan in the 40th minute of play. Glen Nash didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ozzy Dunlop went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After the first half Oddspredator.net were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leo Ackland was the one to do the kick off. Damion Holt came out of the goal and Rueben Sutherland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christian Keyworth might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Glen Nash. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christian Keyworth ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leo Ackland in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Glen Nash prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thomas Jan took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damion Holt. Damion Holt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 70th minute of the match, Leo Ackland tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Glen Nash saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Thomas Jan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Rueben Sutherland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carlisle United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Thomas Jan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Damion Holt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, one of Carlisle United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Carlisle United. The goalkeeper, Glen Nash, was totally fooled by Oddspredator.net's Austen Rush, who 82 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.
