Liam Bray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from CJ Street, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Ruben Moss's late challenge caught a Barr Point's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruben Moss helped the player get up and apologised. 23 minutes into the game, one of Blandford Forum:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Liam Bray went to the wrong direction when Keanu Ely was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After a rather tough play, Blandford Forum's Leo Gurney got a free kick in the 27th minute. Liam Bray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jamie Mayfield in the 29th minute of the match. Den Newland took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Liam Bray. In the 40th minute Den Newland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liam Bray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Blandford Forum fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Liam Bray should have stopped the shot. Will Nelson hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jamie Mayfield got free with Liam Bray in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th minute, Den Newland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jamie Mayfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Den Newland in the 78th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Liam Bray kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-7 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. In the 83rd minute of the match, Jamie Mayfield got a very nice opportunity to score, but Liam Bray was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Den Newland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liam Bray having to interfere. Jamie Mayfield received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Liam Bray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Syd Pallister fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jude Bonham having to interfere.
