The White Eagles FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With 21 minutes on the clock, Jordan Horsey commited a dangerous tackle. Máximo Azeredo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Nicholas Cowling. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eddie Cartwright in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Bastian saved Legia Warszawa from getting behind. The White Eagles FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 43rd minute Matty Robson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Bastian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Legia Warszawa's Christian Proctor got a free kick in the 44th minute. Legia Warszawa's Julio Bastian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gez Eyre in the 45th minute of play. After the first half White Eagles FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Bastian firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of White Eagles FC booed when Legia Warszawa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damien Ingham didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute, White Eagles FC's Steve Buckley ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Bastian. Julio Bastian yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olly Shaw during the 64th minute.
