The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gez Eyre to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matty Robson in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Connor Wright prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 58 minutes into the match, Barr Point's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Lertxun came free, but Connor Wright reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, White Eagles FC's Martyn Tandy got control of the ball when CJ Street tried to sneak it across the goal line. Connor Wright showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matty Robson, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Yngve Andersson hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Den Newland's late challenge caught a White Eagles FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Den Newland helped the player get up and apologised. Gez Eyre struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Connor Wright didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for White Eagles FC. Martyn Tandy came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Barr Point's CJ Street. But to his dismay, CJ Street quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The Barr Point players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented White Eagles FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
