An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Antonangeli in the 23rd minute of play forced Walthamstow's goalkeeper Huey Barton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Tris Gerrard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Cisquella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Huey Barton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Antonangeli, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tris Gerrard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Claudio Antonangeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Walthamstow's Huey Barton got control of the ball when Claudio Antonangeli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zak Beckford hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Huey Barton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Claudio Antonangeli kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Huey Barton. That made the score 0-9 in the 65 minute of play. In the 75th minute of the match The Handsome Wizards UTD got a corner. Walthamstow's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcus Brady ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Marcus Brady almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Walthamstow's Huey Barton did a great save. 76 minutes into the game, Claudio Antonangeli recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Huey Barton. Claudio Antonangeli showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. In the 84th minute, Claudio Antonangeli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Handsome Wizards UTD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-12. The crowd rose to their feet as Kasey Bond kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Huey Barton. That made the score 0-13 in the 88 minute of play. The Handsome Wizards UTD's Grant Groves managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sid Pollock in the 93 minute of the game. Huey Barton was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Claudio Antonangeli showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-14 in the 94 minute of play. The Handsome Wizards UTD's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
