The audience was convinced that Oscar Drake's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvester Stallone was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Silvester Stallone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Drake in the 7th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Oscar Drake put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Silvester Stallone. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oscar Drake in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvester Stallone saved Cheltenham City from getting behind. Rubens Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Hannes Sandwall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fausto Ceandro's late challenge caught a Leicester Foxes Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fausto Ceandro helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cheltenham City getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Fausto Ceandro hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cheltenham City's zone, Niles Andrews stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvester Stallone came out of the goal and Niles Andrews tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 22 minutes into the match, Cheltenham City's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Drake came free, but Silvester Stallone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Cheltenham City booed when Leicester Foxes Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Drake didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Rubens Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cheltenham City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rubens Moraes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute, Oscar Drake made a precise shot to the right of Silvester Stallone. Cheltenham City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Silvester Stallone came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Leicester Foxes Academy's Oscar Drake. But to his dismay, Oscar Drake quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. With his leg Hannes Sandwall managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Cheltenham City's Alessandro Danza fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Young in the 40th minute of play forced Cheltenham City's goalkeeper Silvester Stallone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Martin Ericsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Oscar Drake sped through Cheltenham City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Silvester Stallone. Ash Allwright hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alessandro Danza to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Cheltenham City's Silvester Stallone got control of the ball when Oscar Drake tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 65th minute, one of Cheltenham City:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cheltenham City. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvester Stallone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a left leg Silvester Stallone saved Cheltenham City from getting behind. 95 minutes into the game, Simon Flemming was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cheltenham City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leicester Foxes Academy the free kick. After a rather tough play, Cheltenham City's Simon Flemming got a free kick in the 96th minute. Leicester Foxes Academy's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
