With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kasey Bond in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvester Stallone saved Cheltenham City from getting behind. The Handsome Wizards UTD's Grant Groves got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Cheltenham City booed when The Handsome Wizards UTD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zak Beckford didn't get a good kick on the ball. When CJ Townsley came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the The Handsome Wizards UTD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that CJ Townsley couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd match minute, Cheltenham City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Flemming to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute Damon Fordham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Cisquella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcial Cisquella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Danza in the 39th minute of play. Cheltenham City's Silvester Stallone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Cheltenham City from getting a goal against them. Silvester Stallone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kasey Bond, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of The Handsome Wizards UTD booed when Cheltenham City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damon Fordham didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Kasey Bond fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Silvester Stallone, passed just outside the right post. Silvester Stallone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Antonangeli in the 47th minute of the match. Kasey Bond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alessandro Danza was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kasey Bond in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvester Stallone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Grant Groves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 59 played minutes Cheltenham City got a freekick which was hit by Rubens Moraes. After a defensive mix-up in Cheltenham City's zone, Claudio Antonangeli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvester Stallone came out of the goal and Claudio Antonangeli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubens Moraes in the 63rd minute of play forced The Handsome Wizards UTD's goalkeeper Marcial Cisquella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudio Antonangeli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Claudio Antonangeli sped through Cheltenham City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Silvester Stallone. 77 minutes into the game, The Handsome Wizards UTD's Claudio Antonangeli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvester Stallone made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Cheltenham City's Silvester Stallone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Antonangeli in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cheltenham City's goalkeeper Silvester Stallone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kasey Bond received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Silvester Stallone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cheltenham City made a substitution. Henry Greenfield replaced Damon Fordham. In the 90th minute, Fausto Ceandro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Grant Groves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cheltenham City's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
