The FC Pelsall fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ted Winstanley should have stopped the shot. Albert Fitzgerald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Guus Zalm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bobby Benbow in the 91st minute of the match. After 93 played minutes CAFC1905 got a freekick which was hit by Ray Titmuss. FC Pelsall's Sonny Armstrong was substituted for Axel Åkesson. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Pelsall players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for CAFC1905.
