Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tris Gerrard started the match with the kick off. Walthamstow's Huey Barton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martyn Conway in the 3rd minute of play. After 4 minutes, Martyn Conway made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Walthamstow's Huey Barton tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martyn Conway in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Huey Barton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 10 played minutes FC Pelsall got a freekick which was hit by Ashley Carroll. With a little luck, FC Pelsall's Fryderyk Gajewski got control of the ball when Liam Barat tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lenny Parkinson hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Martyn Conway took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Huey Barton. Huey Barton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Russ Beckett during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, Walthamstow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Russ Beckett to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Ladislao Edur left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Pelsall fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 0-4 became the score in the 28th minute when Ladislao Edur elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ladislao Edur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fryderyk Gajewski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eric Copsey in the 39th minute. When Blair Marsden fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Pelsall's protests and gave Blair Marsden a yellow card for diving instead. Blair Marsden hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Martyn Conway might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Huey Barton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martyn Conway ran back to his position shaking his head.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martyn Conway was the one to do the kick off. Ladislao Edur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Huey Barton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ladislao Edur's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. FC Pelsall's Heli Sánchez was substituted for Martyn Conway. Ladislao Edur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Liam Barat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fryderyk Gajewski having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Walthamstow's goalkeeper Huey Barton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Heli Sánchez. Heli Sánchez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Huey Barton made a huge save. In the 84th minute, Walthamstow's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Heli Sánchez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Heli Sánchez got free with Huey Barton in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Ladislao Edur managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Pelsall's supporters rose to their feet, but Ladislao Edur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Huey Barton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Pelsall's Fryderyk Gajewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liam Barat in the 90th minute of play. FC Pelsall's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
