He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in The underachieves reached it. With a little luck, The underachieves's Huey Barton got control of the ball when Norman Brent tried to sneak it across the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Ray Titmuss cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Huey Barton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Norman Brent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Huey Barton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frankie Elam kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albert Fitzgerald got free with Huey Barton in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Huey Barton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norman Brent's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Russ Beckett charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Russ Beckett the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Russ Beckett hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. A collision led to The underachieves getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Sid Pollock hit a great ball. Huey Barton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norman Brent's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for The underachieves! Ross Ingram hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. A hard shot 41 in the game by Albert Fitzgerald from a close distance when the talented Huey Barton managed to make a qualified save. The underachieves's players were relieved. Albert Fitzgerald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Huey Barton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Albert Fitzgerald made the kick off in the second half. Guus Zalm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Russ Beckett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in The underachieves's zone, Ross Ingram stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Huey Barton came out of the goal and Ross Ingram tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of The underachieves booed when CAFC1905 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ray Titmuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Norman Brent in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Huey Barton saved The underachieves from getting behind. Huey Barton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Fitzgerald in the 60th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Albert Fitzgerald ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Huey Barton was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. If Norman Brent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in The underachieves's zone, Albert Fitzgerald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Huey Barton came out of the goal and Albert Fitzgerald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 68 minutes into the match, The underachieves's goal looked a bit too open when Norman Brent came free, but Huey Barton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute Albert Fitzgerald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Huey Barton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Albert Fitzgerald managed to get in a good position for a shot. CAFC1905's supporters rose to their feet, but Albert Fitzgerald was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Huey Barton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for The underachieves! With an all-out effort, The underachieves's Guus Zalm threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tris Gerrard, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 5-0 became the score in the 82nd minute when Itzhak Gilaon elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Albert Fitzgerald got in the 87th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Huey Barton handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 88thth minute of the game Itzhak Gilaon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The underachieves's Huey Barton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Itzhak Gilaon in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Huey Barton saved The underachieves from getting behind. The underachieves's Huey Barton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Itzhak Gilaon in the 96th minute of play. There was no doubt that CAFC1905 were the better team. CAFC1905's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
