Spectators: 8265 (Terracing: 6200, Seating: 1900, VIP seats: 165) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Neil Butters made the kick off which started today's match. The crowd rose to their feet as Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Jasper Jump slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lloyd Beadel. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. 7 minutes into the match, Jasper Jump notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Barking's Lloyd Beadel. Lloyd Beadel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Barking's Lloyd Beadel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jasper Jump in the 11th minute of play. A collision led to Barking getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Rupert Davies hit a great ball. Lloyd Beadel was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Nat Firth capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nat Firth really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Nat Firth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Lloyd Beadel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Jasper Jump made a precise shot to the right of Lloyd Beadel. Barking's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. If Jasper Jump had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 29 minutes into the match, Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Jasper Jump sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lloyd Beadel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Barking's Laurence Rose quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jakub Moizuk, made in the 32nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jasper Jump in the 33rd minute of play forced Barking's goalkeeper Lloyd Beadel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Nat Firth recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lloyd Beadel. Nat Firth showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-0. In the 37th minute, Nat Firth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Barking's Laurence Rose got a free kick in the 38th minute. Jasper Jump might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lloyd Beadel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jasper Jump ran back to his position shaking his head. Lloyd Beadel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jasper Jump in the 40th minute of the match. Lloyd Beadel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nat Firth showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 7-0 in the 41 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 8-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank McLintock made a kick off. After 56th play minutes Frank McLintock shot 9-0, a short shot which went by Lloyd Beadel and just under the crossbar into goal. 59 minutes into the match, Frank McLintock had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lloyd Beadel. Barking's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank McLintock was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Frank McLintock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank McLintock in the 62nd minute of play forced Barking's goalkeeper Lloyd Beadel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Nat Firth cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Lloyd Beadel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lloyd Beadel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank McLintock in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Barking's goal looked a bit too open when Nat Firth came free, but Lloyd Beadel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Barking defense, Manuel Viñaspre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lloyd Beadel. The Barking fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lloyd Beadel should have stopped the shot. Lloyd Beadel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nat Firth in the 72nd minute of play. Frank McLintock blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lloyd Beadel having to make a save. Lloyd Beadel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank McLintock, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Nat Firth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Frank McLintock notched a goal, 13-0, to the right of Barking's Lloyd Beadel. Lloyd Beadel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Frank McLintock blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lloyd Beadel having to make a save. In the 81st match minute, Barking was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fermin Haitz to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the game, Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Frank McLintock nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lloyd Beadel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 14-0. 85 minutes into the match, Frank McLintock had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lloyd Beadel. Barking's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank McLintock was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 15-0. After a defensive mix-up in Barking's zone, Frank McLintock stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lloyd Beadel came out of the goal and Frank McLintock tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute, Frank McLintock ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lloyd Beadel was frozen by the shot and now it was 18-0. Frank McLintock might have been able to make a better finish in the 99th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lloyd Beadel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank McLintock ran back to his position shaking his head. 99 minutes into the match, Barking's goal looked a bit too open when Frank McLintock came free, but Lloyd Beadel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Astreix&ObelixSoccer walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
