Dapo city's Graeme Sheppard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brendon Boston in the 8th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Dapo city's zone, Brendon Boston stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Graeme Sheppard came out of the goal and Brendon Boston tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chesney Wheeler struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Graeme Sheppard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viktoria Plzen. 16 minutes into the game, Viktoria Plzen's Brendon Boston nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Graeme Sheppard made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 19 minutes of play, Viktoria Plzen's Chesney Wheeler made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Graeme Sheppard was left in no man's land by his defense there! Brendon Boston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Chesney Wheeler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Chesney Wheeler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Graeme Sheppard having to interfere. Len Tonkin hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Brendon Boston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 39 minutes, Shaun Osgood managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Viktoria Plzen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shaun Osgood was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Shaun Osgood in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Graeme Sheppard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brendon Boston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Graeme Sheppard having to interfere. Joey Folwill struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Graeme Sheppard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viktoria Plzen. Brendon Boston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Graeme Sheppard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brendon Boston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chesney Wheeler to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Chesney Wheeler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Graeme Sheppard was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. 53 minutes into the match, Dapo city's goalkeeper Graeme Sheppard had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brendon Boston. 55 minutes into the match, Viktoria Plzen's goal looked a bit too open when Barrie Seward came free, but Mario Verschüren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brendon Boston scored 0-3 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Graeme Sheppard, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Graeme Sheppard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chesney Wheeler, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Seth Higgins came free with the goalkeeper in the 66th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Graeme Sheppard could save by the left post. In the 69th play minute Brendon Boston came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Graeme Sheppard. 0-4. After 74 played minutes Viktoria Plzen got a freekick which was hit by Brendon Boston. Seth Higgins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. After some careless play in the Dapo city defense, Brendon Boston kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Graeme Sheppard. The Dapo city fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Graeme Sheppard should have stopped the shot. After 85 minutes of play, Viktoria Plzen's Chesney Wheeler made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Graeme Sheppard was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 90th minute, Brendon Boston left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Viktoria Plzen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Chesney Wheeler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Graeme Sheppard having to interfere. Viktoria Plzen's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
