After some careless play in the ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ defense, Julian Joachim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jason Lobb. The ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jason Lobb should have stopped the shot. When Oakham's Tristram Barratt in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ's goalie prevented a goal. 21 minutes into the game, Cody Steel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Jason Lobb was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ's Jason Lobb got control of the ball when Matthew Watkins tried to sneak it across the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Julian Joachim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Jason Lobb was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leo Blewett got in the 31st minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Jason Lobb and thus it was 7-0. Julian Joachim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jason Lobb having to make a save. George Dudek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Howard Walters, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Jason Lobb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tristram Barratt in the 37th minute of play. Jason Lobb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Joachim in the 38th minute of the match. Howard Walters hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Ritchie Wrigley blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without George Dudek having to make a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 9-0 at half-time.

Jason Lobb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tristram Barratt, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The Oakham fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Oakham's Matthew Watkins looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jason Lobb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthew Watkins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jason Lobb didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matthew Watkins went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 14-0 was the resulting score. Matthew Watkins took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jason Lobb. Jason Lobb dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 15-0. In the 78th minute Julian Joachim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jason Lobb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cody Steel in the 79th minute of play forced ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ's goalkeeper Jason Lobb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Matthew Watkins notched a goal, 16-0, to the right of ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ's Jason Lobb. Jason Lobb was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 84th minute, Howard Walters got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ritchie Wrigley's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but George Dudek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Jason Lobb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cody Steel in the 88th minute of play. Jason Lobb came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Oakham's Julian Joachim. But to his dismay, Julian Joachim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 17-0. Oakham's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
