But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ozzy Falkingham couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Abracadabra CF getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Stuart Houghton hit a great ball. The referee gave Junkyard Dogs a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Guilian Hunaerts, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Abracadabra CF's Juan Carlos Jaime. 1-0. Abracadabra CF's Juan Carlos Jaime played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ozzy Falkingham in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute, one of Abracadabra CF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Abracadabra CF. Juan Carlos Jaime showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ozzy Falkingham, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute, Ozzy Falkingham got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Junkyard Dogs. After a defensive mix-up in Abracadabra CF's zone, Ozzy Falkingham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Carlos Jaime came out of the goal and Ozzy Falkingham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Juan Carlos Jaime successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ozzy Falkingham was the one to do the kick off. Stuart Houghton made in the 53rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Arnulfo Buinton. Juan Carlos Jaime made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ozzy Falkingham in the 56th minute of play. If Ethan Rushmere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute.
