Spectators: 8394 (Terracing: 6298, Seating: 1930, VIP seats: 166) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rob Hurren got the match started through his kick off. Lance Holdroyd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mike Griffiths in the 4th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ash Higson during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ash Higson kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Leadershot Town's Ash Higson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lance Holdroyd. Lance Holdroyd yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 11th minute Grant Sands shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lance Holdroyd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Leadershot Town getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Marius Vasilache hit a great ball. In the 19th minute of the match, Marius Vasilache got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lance Holdroyd was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 20 minutes into the game, Ash Higson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lance Holdroyd. Ash Higson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Lance Holdroyd was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Mike Griffiths capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mike Griffiths really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Karl Charie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Bow, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the game, Marius Vasilache cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Lance Holdroyd was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Grant Sands had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grant Sands fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lance Holdroyd having to interfere. After some careless play in the Fc Earls defense, Marius Vasilache kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lance Holdroyd. The Fc Earls fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lance Holdroyd should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

In the 51st match minute, Leadershot Town was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mike Griffiths to maneuver through the defense. Lance Holdroyd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mike Griffiths, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Gwyn Gold notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Leadershot Town's Karl Charie. Karl Charie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 61 minutes into the match, Rob Hurren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl Charie. Leadershot Town's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rob Hurren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. After some careless play in the Leadershot Town defense, Rob Hurren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl Charie. The Leadershot Town fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl Charie should have stopped the shot. In the 68th minute Mike Griffiths shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lance Holdroyd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mike Griffiths scored 6-3 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lance Holdroyd, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Fc Earls defense, Marius Vasilache kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lance Holdroyd. The Fc Earls fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lance Holdroyd should have stopped the shot. In the 77th minute, Mike Griffiths left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leadershot Town fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-3. Marius Vasilache charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marius Vasilache the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st minute, Marius Vasilache hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Leadershot Town's goal looked a bit too open when Gwyn Gold came free, but Karl Charie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lance Holdroyd came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Leadershot Town's Mike Griffiths. But to his dismay, Mike Griffiths quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-3. Lance Holdroyd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ash Higson in the 91st minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Marius Vasilache had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lance Holdroyd. Fc Earls's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marius Vasilache was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-3. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Leadershot Town fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fc Earls had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
