In the 2nd minute Brett Houghton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Kopp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 3rd minute of the match Abracadabra CF got a corner. Arsenal FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Brett Houghton ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Abracadabra CF's corner Brett Houghton fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tobias Kopp quite easily take care of the ball. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Arsenal FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Brett Houghton was slow to take the kick. During this time Abracadabra CF's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Abracadabra CF's Brett Houghton to fire away a dangerous shot which Tobias Kopp despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 13th minute Kristopher Bartlett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Kopp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tobias Kopp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristopher Bartlett in the 16th minute of play. After having played for 21 minutes, Austen Coulson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arsenal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Austen Coulson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Kristopher Bartlett sped through Arsenal FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tobias Kopp. After 27 played minutes, Abracadabra CF's Brett Houghton shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tobias Kopp came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Abracadabra CF reached it. Arsenal FC's Tobias Kopp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristopher Bartlett in the 31st minute of play. Juan Carlos Jaime showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camron Ackland, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 38 minutes into the game, when Gencal Baykan put in a rough tackle. Juan Carlos Jaime had in the 41stth minute some difficulties stopping Nial Kirk's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a rather tough play, Abracadabra CF's Jack Drysdale got a free kick in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacek Kielb in the 45th minute of play forced Abracadabra CF's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Jaime to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nial Kirk got free with Juan Carlos Jaime in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Nial Kirk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nial Kirk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 65 minutes, Donny Fry mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arsenal FC and the Abracadabra CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Arsenal FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Donny Fry hit a great ball. Kristopher Bartlett's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tobias Kopp firmly grabbed it by the left post. Juan Carlos Jaime showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camron Ackland, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Camron Ackland notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Abracadabra CF's Juan Carlos Jaime. Juan Carlos Jaime was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vernon Shakespeare hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. The supporters of Abracadabra CF booed when Arsenal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nial Kirk didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Arsenal FC's goalkeeper Tobias Kopp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kristopher Bartlett. In the 91st minute, Camron Ackland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arsenal FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. Juan Carlos Jaime took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nial Kirk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Abracadabra CF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
