Rufus Horsey kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Earls's zone, Kristopher Bartlett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lance Holdroyd came out of the goal and Kristopher Bartlett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Gwyn Gold came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Fc Earls fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gwyn Gold couldn't finish the play. Abracadabra CF's Juan Carlos Jaime proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Abracadabra CF from getting a goal against them. Juan Carlos Jaime made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rob Hurren in the 38th minute. Arnulfo Buinton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lance Holdroyd having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
