Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Keepzilla FC's Lance Luke started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 8 minutes into the game, Trey Dawes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Keepzilla FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nathan FC the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrew Langston in the 11th minute of play forced Keepzilla FC's goalkeeper Paulino Igrejas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Nathan FC's Paddy Jepson got a free kick in the 13th minute. Paddy Jepson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Paulino Igrejas made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lance Luke in the 17th minute of play forced Nathan FC's goalkeeper Joshua Wild to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marko Walmarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joshua Wild having to interfere. Trey Dawes hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Pat Fox left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nathan FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Tod Buckle charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tod Buckle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Nathan FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Tod Buckle hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute of the match Keepzilla FC got a corner. Nathan FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lance Luke ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Marko Walmarsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joshua Wild quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Nathan FC booed when Keepzilla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Lozano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andrew Langston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrew Langston stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paulino Igrejas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ty Morley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Keepzilla FC's Lance Luke got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Bernardo Brun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Lance Luke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Keepzilla FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lance Luke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joshua Wild breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Trey Dawes was shown his second yellow card after 70 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Nathan FC booed when Keepzilla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trey Dawes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lance Luke blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joshua Wild having to make a save. Guy Impey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Keepzilla FC defense, Andrew Langston kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulino Igrejas. The Keepzilla FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulino Igrejas should have stopped the shot. After 85 minutes, Steven Timiney mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Keepzilla FC and the Nathan FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th minute, Steven Timiney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute of the match Tod Buckle sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulino Igrejas skillfully saved the ball. Joshua Wild made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lance Luke in the 91st minute. The supporters of Nathan FC booed when Keepzilla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steven Timiney didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ty Morley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Many of Keepzilla FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Keepzilla FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Nathan FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
