The supporters of CHK Eagles booed when Ilfracombe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Kaye didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Ilfracombe's Ricky Kerfoot got a free kick in the 18th minute. Patrick Colbert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 蔡霆震 in the 21st minute of the match. CHK Eagles's Patrick Colbert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josh Masters in the 22nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 蔡霆震 in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrick Colbert saved CHK Eagles from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinu Coman in the 30th minute of play forced CHK Eagles's goalkeeper Patrick Colbert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrick Colbert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dinu Coman's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Frankie Howard's late challenge caught a CHK Eagles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frankie Howard helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th minute, one of Ilfracombe:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ilfracombe. Gyuro Angeliev had in the 36thth minute some difficulties stopping Matty Gold's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 41st minute, Theo Easter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ilfracombe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Patrick Colbert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinu Coman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Bartosz Dudek made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th play minute Dinu Coman came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Patrick Colbert. 0-3. Patrick Colbert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 蔡霆震 in the 59th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Theo Easter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ilfracombe's supporters rose to their feet, but Theo Easter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrick Colbert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Josh Masters made in the 67th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by CHK Eagles's Jacek Literski. After having played for 69 minutes, Wesley Wise managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CHK Eagles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wesley Wise was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matty Gold took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gyuro Angeliev. Gyuro Angeliev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Matty Gold spun around in front of the goal 74 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Ilfracombe's goal. Patrick Colbert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dinu Coman in the 77th minute. Gyuro Angeliev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matty Gold, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Josh Masters came free with the goalkeeper in the 79th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Patrick Colbert could save by the left post. Theo Easter really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Patrick Colbert was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Theo Easter showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 93 minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ilfracombe had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
