Spectators: 8150 (Terracing: 6113, Seating: 1874, VIP seats: 163) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Neil Logan kicked off to start the match. When Liam Appleton came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Brickhouse FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Liam Appleton couldn't finish the play. Dylon Sedgemore kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Brickhouse FC's goalkeeper Dragoş Gafița had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bartlomiej Niedzwiecki. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester City's zone, Terry Barfield stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frank Pearce came out of the goal and Terry Barfield tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Manchester City booed when Brickhouse FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vute Drindolov didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geoffrey De Bougne got free with Dragoş Gafița in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brickhouse FC's Dragoş Gafița played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartlomiej Niedzwiecki in the 27th minute of play. Neil Logan struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Frank Pearce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brickhouse FC. In the 33rd minute, Manchester City's Bartlomiej Niedzwiecki dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Frank Pearce came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Brickhouse FC's Neil Logan. But to his dismay, Neil Logan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Brickhouse FC's Gavin Swain got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bartlomiej Niedzwiecki was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Brickhouse FC were awarded a corner. Terry Barfield went to the cornerflag to take it. Frank Pearce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neil Logan, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Dragoş Gafița made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Saville in the 62nd minute of play. Frank Pearce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neil Logan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Neil Logan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frank Pearce was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Manchester City made a substitution. Anthony Carey replaced Bartlomiej Niedzwiecki. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthony Carey in the 81st minute of play forced Brickhouse FC's goalkeeper Dragoş Gafița to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dragoş Gafița showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthony Carey, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Frank Pearce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juliusz Ziombkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. If Anthony Carey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Neil Logan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Pearce having to interfere. Manchester City's Barrie Fleming managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Philip Borrowdale in the 91 minute of the game. Anthony Carey struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Dragoş Gafița didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manchester City. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anthony Carey in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dragoş Gafița saved Brickhouse FC from getting behind. Brickhouse FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Manchester City's much stronger midfield.
