Guido Bartoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justs Braslavecs in the 9th minute of play. Richings Park FC's Guido Bartoli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justs Braslavecs in the 11th minute of play. Lance Blackwood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Justs Braslavecs in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guido Bartoli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Richings Park FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dennis Whittington was slow to take the kick. During this time Luton Town's players had a chance to rest. Conan Towler made a great header on Luton Town's corner, it was just that Richings Park FC's Guido Bartoli managed to reach the ball for a save. The corner ended in Dennis Whittington almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Richings Park FC's Guido Bartoli did a great save. Turabi Altınpınars short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Guido Bartoli to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 24th minute, Inocencio Eguerdi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justs Braslavecs in the 41st minute of play forced Richings Park FC's goalkeeper Guido Bartoli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Turabi Altınpınar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Guido Bartoli came out and tried to block the shot, but Turabi Altınpınar slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 43rd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lance Blackwood stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tosh Fordham kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Turabi Altınpınar in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guido Bartoli saved Richings Park FC from getting behind. Grant Rushmere in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Semih Eğriöz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Semih Eğriöz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zane Holyfield in the 57th minute of the match. After 59 minutes Luton Town's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Trev Beckett who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Richings Park FC's Trev Beckett to fire away a dangerous shot which Semih Eğriöz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With his leg Semih Eğriöz managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Richings Park FC's Zane Holyfield fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tosh Fordham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luton Town's Shane Lamb was substituted for Tosh Fordham. Luton Town's Apolo Quirze was substituted for Turabi Altınpınar. 78 minutes into the match, Richings Park FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dylon Ronson came free, but Guido Bartoli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Luton Town booed when Richings Park FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giles Blacknell didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, a hard, long distance shot from Dennis Whittington hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. After having played for 84 minutes, Zane Holyfield managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Richings Park FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zane Holyfield was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Dennis Whittington's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guido Bartoli was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Apolo Quirze in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guido Bartoli saved Richings Park FC from getting behind.
