An unexpectedly hard shot by Neil Logan in the 4th minute of play forced Richings Park FC's goalkeeper Guido Bartoli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute, Drew Myers had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juliusz Ziombkowski during the 5th minute. In the 15th minute Neil Logan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guido Bartoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richings Park FC's Jeff Fordham managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Flávio Madureira in the 17 minute of the game. Chesney Colman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guido Bartoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liam Appleton in the 21st minute of play. In the 24th minute David Corby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dragoş Gafița saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trev Beckett hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Guido Bartoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liam Appleton in the 30th minute of play. Zane Holyfield received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Dragoş Gafița tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was Terry Barfield who took care of the corner kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Grant Rushmere got free with Dragoş Gafița in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Guido Bartoli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Neil Logan in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Richings Park FC's zone, Neil Logan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guido Bartoli came out of the goal and Neil Logan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guido Bartoli was a little too slow when Neil Logan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-1. Richings Park FC's Guido Bartoli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neil Logan in the 60th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Neil Logan made a precise shot to the right of Guido Bartoli. Richings Park FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Liam Appleton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Guido Bartoli made a huge save. Brickhouse FC made a substitution. Fabian Hylander replaced Gavin Swain. The crowd rose to their feet as Brickhouse FC's Neil Logan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Guido Bartoli. That made the score 0-4 after 72 minutes of play. In the 76th minute Neil Logan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guido Bartoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trev Beckett hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Richings Park FC's Guido Bartoli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neil Logan in the 84th minute of play. Richings Park FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Liam Appleton scored to the left of an out of position Guido Bartoli, making the score, 0-5. When Neil Logan came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Brickhouse FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Neil Logan couldn't finish the play. After 91 played minutes Richings Park FC got a freekick which was hit by Trev Beckett. When the match was over Brickhouse FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Richings Park FC throughout the match.
