Lance Luke didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Keepzilla FC's zone, Geoffrey De Bougne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulino Igrejas came out of the goal and Geoffrey De Bougne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frank Pearce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lance Luke in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lance Luke in the 30th minute of play forced Manchester City's goalkeeper Frank Pearce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Lance Luke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frank Pearce was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Bernardo Brun's late challenge caught a Manchester City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lance Luke made a kick off. When Anthony Carey came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Manchester City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anthony Carey couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute, one of Keepzilla FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Keepzilla FC. Guy Impey's late challenge caught a Manchester City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guy Impey helped the player get up and apologised. Guy Impey hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After having played for 87 minutes, Anthony Carey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anthony Carey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anthony Carey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Manchester City's Anthony Carey got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Manchester City lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
