Ethan Best was slow to take the kick. During this time Dersingham City's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Dersingham City's corner Ethan Best fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rutger Holm quite easily take care of the ball. Rutger Holm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ethan Best in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, FC Tunarii's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Scrivener came free, but Rutger Holm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rick Bridgeman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Liam Langley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Liam Langley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nathan Percival, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Dersingham City's Gerry Liddle got a free kick in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Tunarii's Jonathon Pickard got a free kick in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Scrivener in the 25th minute of play forced FC Tunarii's goalkeeper Rutger Holm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Marcus Scrivener managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dersingham City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcus Scrivener was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zaq Kerr recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the match, FC Tunarii's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Scrivener came free, but Rutger Holm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the FC Tunarii defense, Marcus Scrivener kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rutger Holm. The FC Tunarii fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rutger Holm should have stopped the shot.

The wind increased when Marcus Scrivener made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Scrivener got free with Rutger Holm in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 52nd minute, Dersingham City's Kurt Tandy dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Les Dexter in the 55th minute of play forced Dersingham City's goalkeeper Liam Langley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute, Paul Chadwick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute, Les Dexter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Liam Langley was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Rutger Holm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Tandy in the 62nd minute of the match. Rutger Holm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ethan Best, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Nathan Percival hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 78 minutes of play, Dersingham City's Marcus Scrivener made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rutger Holm was left in no man's land by his defense there! 85 minutes into the game, Marcus Scrivener cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Rutger Holm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 88th minute Ethan Best shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rutger Holm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
