Spectators: 8404 (Terracing: 6303, Seating: 1933, VIP seats: 168) Carl Speed started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Marcus Scrivener received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Philip Floyd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 4th minute Carl Speed shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liam Langley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zaq Kerr blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Philip Floyd having to make a save. Ethan Best fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Floyd having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Dersingham City's Ethan Best shot a high long ball. Kauto Stars's goalkeeper was lucky when the ball hit the right post and out. 16 minutes into the match, Pierce Branson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Philip Floyd, 2-0. With a little luck, Kauto Stars's Philip Floyd got control of the ball when Zaq Kerr tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, Dersingham City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Scrivener to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the game, Jamie Whitford was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kauto Stars's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dersingham City the free kick. In the 27th match minute, Kauto Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jamie Whitford to maneuver through the defense. Kauto Stars's Philip Floyd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ethan Best in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to Kauto Stars getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Stuart Heywood hit a great ball. Marcus Scrivener struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Philip Floyd didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dersingham City. Philip Floyd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ethan Best, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. John-Paul Hoult charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed John-Paul Hoult the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 35 played minutes Kauto Stars got a freekick which was hit by John-Paul Hoult. 36 minutes into the match, Dersingham City's Pierce Branson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Philip Floyd narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Philip Floyd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Scrivener in the 40th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcus Scrivener made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Kauto Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keanu Tate to maneuver through the defense. Zaq Kerr might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Philip Floyd. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zaq Kerr ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcus Scrivener fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Floyd having to interfere. Philip Floyd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Scrivener, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcus Scrivener recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jamie Whitford kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Philip Floyd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pierce Branson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ethan Best had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcus Scrivener in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Philip Floyd prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Philip Floyd came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Dersingham City's Pierce Branson. But to his dismay, Pierce Branson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Marcus Scrivener fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Floyd having to interfere. Pierce Branson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Philip Floyd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Kauto Stars defense, Marcus Scrivener kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Philip Floyd. The Kauto Stars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Philip Floyd should have stopped the shot. Dersingham City walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
