Stan Webster was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Ed Helks's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stan Webster was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. In the 34th minute Will Starr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stan Webster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Ashley Down Athletic's Matthew Macken nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The wind increased when Blair Notley made the kick off in the second half. Ashley Down Athletic's Roberto Estevon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blair Notley in the 59th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ashley Down Athletic's Ed Helks slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stan Webster. That made the score 0-9 after 60 minutes of play. Ed Helks did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-11 to the left of a surprised Stan Webster 68 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Blair Notley in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roberto Estevon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stan Webster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ed Helks in the 73rd minute of play. After 75 minutes of play, Ashley Down Athletic's Ed Helks made it 0-12 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stan Webster was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stan Webster was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Ruben Higginson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ruben Higginson really showed his touch with that goal: 0-13. Duke White hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. If Jeremy Pickard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Ashley Down Athletic's Will Starr dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-14. 89 minutes into the match, Matthew Macken had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stan Webster. Euston City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matthew Macken was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-15. Nigel Goldsmith kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match.
