An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Mayfield in the 27th minute of play forced Euston City's goalkeeper Stan Webster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute West Ham were awarded a corner. Kurt Poynton went to the cornerflag to take it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severo Laurentzi in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stan Webster saved Euston City from getting behind. Stan Webster didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from J.C. Smith went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. In the 40th minute, J.C. Smith made a precise shot to the right of Stan Webster. Euston City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. The West Ham fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when West Ham's Severo Laurentzi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Severo Laurentzi took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stan Webster. Stan Webster dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Severo Laurentzi made a kick off. After 54 minutes, Severo Laurentzi made it 0-9 with a short kick to the right side. Euston City's Stan Webster tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Stan Webster was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and J.C. Smith capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. J.C. Smith really showed his touch with that goal: 0-10. J.C. Smith received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Stan Webster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severo Laurentzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stan Webster having to interfere. 65 minutes into the game, West Ham's J.C. Smith nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stan Webster made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. The crowd rose to their feet as West Ham's J.C. Smith slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stan Webster. That made the score 0-12 after 68 minutes of play. Tommy Mayfield struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Stan Webster didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for West Ham. J.C. Smith fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stan Webster having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as West Ham's Severo Laurentzi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stan Webster. That made the score 0-13 after 75 minutes of play. In the 79th minute, West Ham's Tommy Mayfield ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stan Webster. Stan Webster yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-14. Severo Laurentzi in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Stan Webster, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Severo Laurentzi let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 85th minute shot 0-15 at rihgt post. Stan Webster made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Severo Laurentzi sent off a good shot on target. Severo Laurentzis short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Stan Webster to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 92 minutes into the game, Severo Laurentzi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stan Webster. Severo Laurentzi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-16. When the final whistle sounded West Ham left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Euston City.
