West Ham's Hayden Baker tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. John-Einar Olaussen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hayden Baker having to interfere. West Ham's Hayden Baker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John-Einar Olaussen in the 11th minute of play. John-Einar Olaussen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hayden Baker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. In the 14th minute of the match Calum Towler sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hayden Baker skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Twyford United booed when West Ham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Mayfield didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute John-Einar Olaussen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hayden Baker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 minutes of play, Twyford United's John-Einar Olaussen made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hayden Baker was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind West Ham's goalkeeper Hayden Baker, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, West Ham's goal looked a bit too open when John-Einar Olaussen came free, but Hayden Baker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Severo Laurentzi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Paul Mersø hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 57thth minute of the game John-Einar Olaussen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but West Ham's Hayden Baker was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 61 minutes into the game, Severo Laurentzi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. West Ham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Twyford United the free kick. When Twyford United's John-Einar Olaussen in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye West Ham's goalie prevented a goal. When John-Einar Olaussen came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Twyford United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John-Einar Olaussen couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute John-Einar Olaussen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hayden Baker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. John-Einar Olaussen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hayden Baker having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Twyford United's John-Einar Olaussen got a free kick in the 71st minute. After 72 played minutes Twyford United got a freekick which was hit by Mitch Wicks. Hayden Baker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John-Einar Olaussen, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Paul Mersø kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Barry Dolby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute, John-Einar Olaussen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Twyford United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Hayden Baker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John-Einar Olaussen in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute Twyford United were awarded a corner. Calum Towler went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Liam Ellerby heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 95th minute John-Einar Olaussen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hayden Baker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by West Ham's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Calum Towler was slow to take the kick. During this time Twyford United's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Twyford United's Calum Towler to fire away a dangerous shot which Hayden Baker despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The West Ham supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Twyford United's performance. The match ended with a win for Twyford United.
