In the 31stth minute of the game Lilko Yovchev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Broken bottles FC's Dean Simms was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Niall Argent took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dean Simms. Broken bottles FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 38 minutes, Lilko Yovchev made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Broken bottles FC's Dean Simms tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lilko Yovchev to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Wembley City's goal looked a bit too open when Archie Sansom came free, but Jacob Clare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wembley City's Jacob Clare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Archie Sansom in the 61st minute of play. Lilko Yovchev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Dean Simms made a huge save. Dean Simms showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rowan Salmon in the 64th minute of the match. In the 81st minute of the match Darius Laycock shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacob Clare showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 83 minutes of play, Wembley City's Lilko Yovchev made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dean Simms was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Eddy Moody had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
