When Alfredo Intxixu came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Fc Malá Lula fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Intxixu couldn't finish the play. Trey Prutton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredo Intxixu's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. 7 minutes into the game, Fc Malá Lula's Alfredo Intxixu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Trey Prutton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Fc Malá Lula's Alfredo Intxixu in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wembley City's goalie prevented a goal. 22 minutes into the game, Lilko Yovchev recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Scott Bramhall. Lilko Yovchev showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After 26 minutes, Seb Holdsworth mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc Malá Lula and the Wembley City players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Wembley City booed when Fc Malá Lula was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seb Holdsworth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trey Prutton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Intxixu in the 29th minute of play. Eduard Bistreanu kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute of the match Glen Wiseman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Scott Bramhall skillfully saved the ball. Glen Wiseman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Fc Malá Lula's Ged Mayfield in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wembley City's goalie prevented a goal. When Rowan Salmon came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Wembley City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rowan Salmon couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lilko Yovchev to make the kick off. After 53rd play minutes Lilko Yovchev shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Scott Bramhall and just under the crossbar into goal. If Lilko Yovchev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rowan Salmon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Trey Prutton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Intxixu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Wembley City's zone, Alfredo Intxixu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Trey Prutton came out of the goal and Alfredo Intxixu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72nd match minute, Fc Malá Lula was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seb Holdsworth to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th match minute, Fc Malá Lula was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Ashton to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glen Wiseman in the 89th minute of play forced Fc Malá Lula's goalkeeper Scott Bramhall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd play minute Ged Mayfield came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Trey Prutton. 2-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Fc Malá Lula eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
