Kyrylo Korniychuks short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Dean Simms to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Yeadon United:s Per-Olof Brovall showed great skill when he stopped Darius Laycock:s penalty. 5 minutes into the match, Darius Laycock had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Per-Olof Brovall. Yeadon United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Darius Laycock was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Broken bottles FC's Dean Simms played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Videl Larrañaga in the 9th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Christopher Buxton put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dean Simms. 15 minutes into the match, Broken bottles FC's goalkeeper Dean Simms had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christopher Buxton. If Christopher Buxton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christopher Buxton who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Dean Simms when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Milosz Pozorskis short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Dean Simms to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 22 minutes, Milosz Pozorski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yeadon United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Milosz Pozorski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christopher Buxton in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dean Simms prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yeadon United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Åke Persson in the 39th minute. The corner ended in Åke Persson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Broken bottles FC's Dean Simms did a great save. After a rather tough play, Broken bottles FC's Archie Sansom got a free kick in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The wind increased when Archie Sansom made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Christopher Buxton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dean Simms saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Åke Persson made a great header on Yeadon United's corner, it was just that Broken bottles FC's Dean Simms managed to reach the ball for a save. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Christopher Buxton sped through Broken bottles FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dean Simms. Gaz Rockett's late challenge caught a Yeadon United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaz Rockett helped the player get up and apologised. After 58 played minutes Broken bottles FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaz Rockett. Everett Swartz missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 59 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Dean Simms right hand side. During the 61st minute of the match Gaz Rockett completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gaz Rockett a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 62 played minutes Broken bottles FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaz Rockett. Yeadon United made a substitution. Yves Bonheur replaced Kevin Nancy. In the 64th minute of the match Åke Persson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dean Simms showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 64th minute, Antanas Sabaliauskas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute Videl Larrañaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dean Simms saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 minutes, Milosz Pozorski made it 6-1 with a short kick to the right side. Broken bottles FC's Dean Simms tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Åke Persson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dean Simms. Broken bottles FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 77th minute Kyrylo Korniychuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dean Simms saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eddy Moody fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Olof Brovall having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Milosz Pozorski notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Broken bottles FC's Dean Simms. Dean Simms was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Christopher Buxton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dean Simms having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Videl Larrañaga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yeadon United's supporters rose to their feet, but Videl Larrañaga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dean Simms breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Sun Chuan Wen came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Broken bottles FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sun Chuan Wen couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milosz Pozorski in the 90th minute of play forced Broken bottles FC's goalkeeper Dean Simms to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Broken bottles FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christopher Buxton came free, but Dean Simms reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dean Simms showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Videl Larrañaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Broken bottles FC's Sun Chuan Wen got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Yeadon United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
