With an extended leg and a bit of luck John-Paul Watkinson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th match minute, The Globo Red was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dave Spacey to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, The Globo Red's goal looked a bit too open when Ged Mayfield came free, but Don Bray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ged Mayfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Don Bray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Intxixu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 played minutes The Globo Red got a freekick which was hit by Dave Spacey. The Globo Red's John-Paul Izzard was substituted for Caco Moura. A collision led to The Globo Red getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Dave Spacey hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the match, Fc Malá Lula's goal looked a bit too open when John-Paul Izzard came free, but John-Paul Watkinson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. John-Paul Watkinson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John-Paul Izzard, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Dave Spacey's late challenge caught a Fc Malá Lula's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dave Spacey helped the player get up and apologised. 95 minutes into the match, Will Budden notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Fc Malá Lula's John-Paul Watkinson. John-Paul Watkinson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
